Ever seen an ice sculpture?
I have,
I look into the mirror every day
That is all I see.
Have you ever longed for the winter to end?
I do.
All I can observe is a continuous cold spell
With no sign of a thaw around the corner.
Have you ever wanted to be the ice queen?
I did.
When I was young I thought she was wonderful
Now I know her I’m not too sure.
Can you see nothing but snow?
I can’t.
All I see is a white calm
No doubt before the storm hits in.
Do you wish for it to end?
I tried
But it will not stop
The storm will continue till the end.
Do you know when that will be?
I don’t.
Though in my eyes it will only fade
When there is no more of anything.
